Alpha 19.1


Hello! I've just uploaded Alpha 19.1, which aims to fix issues relating to food, the kitchen, and balancing the overall gathering system. Let's call it the "food roleplay update", because from now on, cooking the soup will truly be the delicious experience I originally wanted! Oh, and if you like the accelerated pace of development and the things we do, please consider becoming a funder to support us!   • Fixes
    • Fixed the dream portals (dirt pile) being difficult to click.
    • Dreams no longer kick you out by mistake.
    • Re-enabled canceling focus with Escape key.
    • Players now fade out when disconnecting.
    • Fixed incorrect collision detection when placing placeables (bugtraps, sprays, stickynotes, etc)
    • Night time at forest was adjusted to be less dark.
    • The dug plant plots now has a minimum distance to other plots.
  • Interface
    • The eventpad now shows events two weeks in the future.
    • You can now sniff players to get an idea of their recent actions or locations.
    • The composer can now show nearby players' sheet notes, to compose together.
    • There is now a Favorites list where you can favorite certain players. This is only clientside, so it's not a friends request.
      • Favorited players do not hide when being close up to you.
      • More benefits will come in the future.
    • You can now gain offline tokens when handing in food, in addition to the online tokens.
      • Simply contribute to the food bins like usual, and you'll get them.
  • Character posing was improved.
    • Hand/Arm aiming was added as a funder exclusive feature. (or by going offline and playing solo)
    • Hold Ctrl and press Left or Right mouse button to place your hand where you click.
    • You can still move head with Shift+Left/Right mouse button and move arms with Ctrl+Shfit+Left/Right mouse button.
    • Moving the head and arms now inverts correctly when looking at your character from the front.
    • Moving the arms now make use of both the Left and Right mouse button.
  • Food and resources were adjusted and balanced.
    • Fishing now relies harder on bait. When a bait is hooked, it freshens the hook for some time.
      • Certain fishes are now only fond of specific bait.
    • The "extra mushrooms" that were supposed to appear next to planted soil were fixed.
      • They are now contained to specific areas in the forest.
    • The bugtraps were changed to be usable for a longer period of time before becoming ineffective.
      • They can now only be removed if it doesn't contain a bait or a creature.
    • Apples, berries and strawberries can now be picked up from the campus and forest.
      • These can be turned in to chip snacks using the drying rack in the kitchen.
      • Use the snackbowl to pick the dried snacks up - it is found near the foodbowl.
    • The snackbowl, foodbowl, and prepping tray are now placed on the table in front of you if you sit at the tent.
      • When sitting, the new option "Snack" will allow you to appear snacking on the food without consuming it.
    • The kitchen pot was made to look much more delicious, with a way to visibly see the progress of cooking it.
    • Foodraise algorithm was adjusted.
      • Each category now follow its own curves, which means the goals don't endlessly grow over time.
