Hello there.

Last week I uploaded Alpha 20! There are no story changes yet, but the changes felt enough to warrant a new version. This update features plenty of visual updates, such as the autumn season, re-done character patterns, and of course, the rabbit species. I also added a new area, Outpost, which is the third and last outdoor area that you're meant to unlock halfways through story - for now, it's open to all online visitors. The musical instruments had a big update and the composer now features a piano roll, midi input, and much better sound playback.

The E-Shop also got updated with much needed icon updates and PayPal Kemze Coin purchases!! Check it here. Funder purchase will be available in the future, too. So yeah, if you like what I do, you don't have to go through the trouble of becoming a funder and buying through the ko-fi site anymore, just pop over to the Kemze E-Shop instead and get as many coins as you want, to any online character, and for a slightly reduced price too. ^u^

Changelog:

* The autumn season was added and all areas are painted in beautiful yellow and brown colors.
** Autumn appears during August, September, and October.
** Winter appears during November, December, January.

* The override.cfg file was moved from the .exe directory to the application data folder (%appdata%/tko).
** You may have to re-enable GLES3 in settings, if you had it enabled.
* The character savefile now keeps an older savefile (renamed to .old), just in case of file corruption.
* The quit message now shows in the main menu and the character selection screen.
* When Onrakh gave you 10 ink bottles, the chat said only one. This is now fixed.
* The "Restart game" now closes the game properly.

* Character appearance was improved.
** Rendering of character patterns was optimized.
** Some of the hats now hide the ears correctly.
** Various holes/gaps in the body patterns were fixed.
** Certain sitting animations were tweaked.
** All character patterns now have improved quality. We tried to keep them the same style.
*** Patterns are now colored slightly differently and should allow for more variety.

Character customization:
* Added the Rabbit species.
** It is now available at the character creation screen (if purchased after creation).
** It can be purchased in the e-shop for existing characters. Includes reborn potion to enter customization.
** The rabbit has their own unique set of hairstyles, clothing pieces, and body patterns.
* Modified the Young specie variations clothings.
** There are now two oversized top pieces: Comfy T-Shirt and Comfy Overalls.
** Their funder outfit is now available, and it's a cute pajamas in the signature colors.
* Cleaned up the character customization user interface.

Added area:
* The new area "Outpost" has been added, with its associated music themes.
** The Outpost is an area further away from the campus, unlocked halfways through the story.
*** Since the story is currently unfinished, it is open for all online players.
** It can be accessed down at the lake by clicking on the warning sign put up by Retakatekt.

Musical instruments:
* Improved the Composer window for playing instruments.

** There is now a on-screen piano roll that can play and record notes.
*** Press "Record" switch or hold Control key to record note presses from the piano roll.
*** As the Composer window is opened, it connects to your Midi keyboard.
**** The connection can be manually toggled with the left checkmark.

** Note sheets can now optionally specify a designated instrument.
*** If your character owns this instrument, it will auto-switch to it when loading a note sheet.

* Added the flute and harmonica instruments.
** These can be bought from Retakatekt, whose instrument cost has been adjusted from 10 tokens to 6 tokens.

Kemze/Kemze E-Shop:
* Updated the E-Shop offerings.
** E-Shop links now show in more locations in the interface.
* Show "Kemze HQ" Message of the day at character selection screen.
